ABOUT OUR YARN

Introducing Woof Wool, our bespoke dog fur yarns used exclusively in Kotes by Kobe knit products. Whether you’re a knitter or a crocheter, or handy with another craft, you’ll love our super-soft yarns made from fur donated by kind doggies around the world. The dog fur is blended with other fibres such as merino wool or alpaca fibres, as well as with a touch of nylon for extra durability, and spun by our specialty mill partners in Australia.

Woof Wool yarns are produced in small batches and there’s no other yarn in the world that’s quite the same. Because each batch contains fur from different dogs, no batch will ever be replicated, though we will continue experimenting with new fibre blends and dyes so we can add new yarns to our range.
